David Macklin acknowledges that athletics are a large part of who he is; while also understanding that the world is bigger than simply him or sports. David understands that a world of children in need; and he wants to reach out to them and he is can reach and whose lives he is excited to touch and improve. David’s experiences as a youth left him humbled. As an adult, his heart is overflowing with desire to reach out and help the youths of today. His yearning to make a real difference continues. A strong correlation exists when it comes to the NFL; however, he also understands that many of the attributes of the NFL can easily be adapted and applied by our youth. During his time playing football, David worked hard and dedicated himself to his team by working hard, taking accountability and maintaining perseverance.
